Type II water is suitable for many applications from preparation of culture media to glassware cleaning. Type II water benefits from a low inorganic element content and is suitable for sensitive analytical requirements, where ultra pure water is not required.
The process involved in obtaining Type II water is particulate filtering, activated carbon, reverse osmosis, desalination (ion exchange or electrodeionization), UV and micro filtration.
